Is your fundraiser a dazer?
Or is your Fundraiser Amazing?
Every year we search different ways to switch up our fundraiser for girls camp and or scout camp. We have done the dinners, where ward members pay for a dinner. We have even done the auctions where the girls donate different services or baskets and have ward members bid on them. We have also done a car wash as fundraiser and all of these are awesome ideas and we mulled them around for a bit this year but decided to do something different. We really wanted to have a fundraiser where the majority of the work is not on the leaders. So we decided to do frozen cookie dough. We want the girls to be actively engaged in this fundraiser so the girls that want to participate (you know there are a few that don’t) will bring ingredients such as 2 dozen eggs, or 1 bag of flour etc. Then they have to participate in helping us make the batter (if they want to be included in earning money). All cookie dough orders will be divided between all girls who want to participate in the fundraiser. We have also given them the option of taking a sign up form around to their neighbors/family members or whoever and they can earn whatever they sell, the full amount. We are offering 2 types of cookies and we will be putting the dough in 32oz white Paper container with non vented lid – it will have labels stating what kind of cookie, baking instructions and nutrition facts 🙂 So far we have sold 115 tubs and have had a great response from our ward with a few girls out there hitting the pavement. I am really excited about this fundraiser.
What did you guys do this year?

April 24, 2017 at 8:42 pmHow much did you charge per container? We have been doing chocolate dipped strawberries and pretzels for Mother’s Day the past years. It’s been pretty well received by the ward.
