Helping Hands
I have found that helping others is the fastest way for me to let go of my troubles and feel the spirit.
Teaching the girls to love service is one of my greatest desires.
Our Laurels wanted to do something to help out our ward Relief Society, so we made 4 pans of Lasagna that could be put in the freezer until needed.
It was pretty easy! We got the aluminum throw away pans, spaghetti sauce, Lasagna Noodles, cottage Cheese w/ egg, & cheese to top it with.
We did not cook the noodles, but just layered everything until we ended with cheese 🙂
We had a great time putting it all together and our Relief Society was so grateful.
“Service changes people. It refines, purifies, gives a finer perspective, and brings out the best in each one of us. It gets us looking outward instead of inward. Righteous service is the expression of true charity, such as the Savior showed.”
