Some Sweet Talking Girl

We are always looking for ways to serve, our young women president had this wonderful and easy idea:  Put together little bags of Hershey kisses with a note that read:
(Put it on the cars in the parking lot of the Temple)

Thank you for your temple service today.  You have made a difference to those whose work you completed… they are rejoicing in heaven.  We would like to return the sweetness of your service with these chocolate kisses!!

For we without them cannot be made perfect;
neither can they without us be made perfect.

Since we were at the Temple, I thought it would be great to have my daughter put on her dress and come talk to the girls.  She talked about how important it is to dress modestly now, she talked about her favorite part of her Temple wedding which was the mirrors in the Sealing Room. She talked about how important it is to marry the right person at the right time in the right place. She let the girls ask her questions & brought her wedding album for them to look through.

The girls did not know she was coming so when they were walking towards us, they saw her in her dress and were all excited- it’s always to fun to see new brides at the Temple.

She also suggested taking their picture with her veil on and the Temple in the back ground.

The following 3 weeks our lessons were Manuel 3 # 16- Temple Endowment
                #17- Preparing to attend the Temple 
                 #18-Temple Marriage
So this activity was a great precursor for these lessons. 

We made sure every young women got a picture of herself in the veil and the Temple.


This Note was sent to our Bishop, the girls loved hearing how their wonderful service brightened someones day.

Simple acts of service really can make a difference we might never know the impact a small act of service can do.
