A few years ago a friend of mine was the girls camp director and she based camp around “Fathers Love Letters”, I heard it was a great theme and one which the girls came away truly feeling the spirit and the love that Heavenly Father has for them.

So, its been on my mind a lot and wanted to share it.

My Child,

You may not know me,
but I know everything about you.
Psalm 139:1

I know when you sit down and when you rise up.
Psalm 139:2

I am familiar with all your ways.
Psalm 139:3

Even the very hairs on your head are numbered.

For you were made in my image.

I am grateful for my knowledge, that I am a literal daughter of my Heavenly Father, that he indeed loves me and wants me to be happy. I am grateful for the Young Women program, the gospel, for teaching what our purpose is, the Personal Progress program that truly helps us to see how beautiful we are, showing us what talents and divine qualities we have. I am grateful to have the scriptures, to have Heavenly Father be able to speak to me. I know that he does indeed speak to us through them, I love them and treasure them.

I know that we hear it all the time, that we are Children of God, sometimes its good to hear it again and again.
