My Story
Hello World
I love that when you very first start in word press, the title that is suggested to use for your very first post is “Hello World”. So Hello world, I am Charisse! I am a mother, Grandmother and I love Jesus Christ, I have served in my church in many capacities but my love is teaching. I especially love teaching the youth and I have found that I have a talent for it. I started blogging 5 years ago when I started researching the internet for lessons or activities to do with our youth group. I realized that I had boxes of material that I could upload and share on a website for others who are looking as well. I love this blogging world and when I have gone to my knees in prayer looking for answers to help with a lesson or activity, poked around on pintrest, looked at blogs, I was inspired. Inspired to switch it up a bit to adapt to our group of youth or just started the ideas running through my head. I will tell you flat out not all these posts were my ideas, some I have no idea where they came from because it came from email groups of LDS files. Some where activities that were planned in a big group or in a presidency meeting. My purpose is to share ideas that help us have meaningful, spiritual and purposeful activities. I have programs (documents) that you can download, I do not charge, I just ask that you subscribe, which in the past I have not required, but I do now 😆 I have started advertising because, believe it or not blogging takes time, so I figured I might as well advertise for the one company we seem to use the most and it does not up the pricing to you at all it just gives me a small % so“We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
Welcome to my site- please let me know you stopped by I love comments and all your wonderful Ideas- I am always looking for guest bloggers so if you are interested in sharing a activity or lesson idea let me know. I also want to add a forum to this blog but one thing at a time.
Welcome!
