Popcorn Popping
So I have never been one to have a sweet tooth but lately with pintrest and all I have to say that I love Sweets. I have been trying a bunch of new recipes and love to share them!
My latest obsession is what I call Cinderella Popcorn
I found this as I was looking for anything pink and pretty- not sure where it was originally posted, if you know please let me know so I can link it back to the original.
I used 2 bags of Orville Redinbacker light popcorn or any kind of light (to much salt just doesn’t taste good), and a bag of pink Wilton Candy melts- you can find those at Walmart, Michael s etc. Cooked the popcorn first- melted the candy and poured it on (I added M&Ms to some and sparkly stars to others) I mixed some of the candy up in the popcorn-just for just I poured more on top then spread it out on wax paper or parchment paper to let it harden Oh its so yummy, this is what mine looked like
Ok so my picture is not that great but the Popcorn was
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Karo Syrup
1 Can Condensed sweetened Milk
Combine all ingredients in sauce pan , bring to a boil and boil for 3 min, let cool just a little
and pour over your popcorn, make sure to take out any kernels, it is not that fun biting into one. Let cool on parchment paper- I use 4-5 bags of popcorn
