Some Sweet Talking Girl

Hebrews 13:6 reads “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever” 

This scripture has always been on my mind even as a child, so when some question as to why we, in this day and age, need a Prophet it baffles me.  Why would God our Father, who loves us, not want to give us a Prophet?  He has had many Prophets, during the Old Testament as well as the New Testament.  Why is today any different? 


I am grateful to know that he does indeed love us as much as he has loved all of his children who have come since the beginning of time.  I am grateful to know that there is indeed a living Prophet today.  Twice a year we as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have the opportunity to gather for General Conference and hear from Gods Holy Prophet.  I look forward to this time as I sit and listen to what our Heavenly Father wants us to know, instructions that will help us and that apply to us in this day and age.  If would like to know more about my religion check out this site. www.lds.org
