Some Sweet Talking Girl

This year we are trying really hard to help the girls get to know each other better. We found this idea on Traveling Bracelet

It is pretty simple and you can customize it for your own ward. We wanted to do this with all of our girls. We went around the room and asked all the girls for suggestions as to what our rules would be for the “bracelet” and then we had someone second it. As leaders we monitored and suggested as well. Some of our rules are no gossiping while you have the bracelet, have to do an act of service outside of your family and you had to wear silly socks to school.

 Every Sunday we pass the book and bracelet on (it’s a good idea to sanitize the bracelet) putting only the girls who are there and have not gotten it yet names in the hat. They record in the book, it’s been very fun. Before our laurels leave us we will take beads from the bracelet and make one for them to have.
