 Our Bishopric Youth Committee decided to use President Hollands quote to come up with our Youth Conference theme.

“Whose Jersey do you Wear?”

We decided to stay local with a 2 day Youth Conference and only one night overnight.  We utilized homes, cabins, pools & media room that members had offered to us.

Day 1
9am- Morning Side
With the YW President & YM president going through our theme and the meaning, how we are all on the same team and how we need to be kind to one another and help each other.
We had a inactive member take us repelling 

We talked about the importance of communication & being aware of our surroundings 

One of our goals for Youth Conference was for our youth to get to know each other better and have fun doing that.










12:00pm- Lunch
We had everyone bring a sack lunch from home 
1:00pm – Head to Pool

3:00-4:30- Watch “Forever Strong”
4:30-5:00- BBQ Dinner

The wonderful priests in our ward cooked for everyone







5:30-6:30- Service project 

Weeding a friends garden







Take Youth home by 7PM

Day 2
9:00am- Breakfast (Cooked by the bishopric)

10:00- Head to Pine Valley
11:30- Geo Caching Activity
based off of President Uchdorf talk

This activity was a very good demonstration on how big a difference even 2 degrees is







1:00pm- lunch
1:30pm- Skit in a bag

Our boys are not big on skits, but I was pleasantly surprised with all of them participating.

3:00- Faith Walk

4:00-Letters from Home (those who have played on the team before us- like in Forever Strong)

4:00- Go to cabin
4:30- Dinner
5:30- Guest Speaker Mike Christenson (played for University of Utah under Coach Urban Meyer when they won National Championship and Fiesta Bowl)

Mike talked about playing on a winning team, talked about how we all made the same choice in the pre existence. 
 How much time do we spend in the play book- the scriptures- how do we use it- do we follow it, look at it here and there.  
How much time do you communicate with the owner (Heavenly Father) of our team? How often do we go to the training facility (the Temple)
It was great.
